The department prepares: specialists-doctors of specialties 222 “Medicine”, 221 “Dentistry by higher education master’s degree and specialty 223 “Nursing”| by higher education bachelor’s degree Knowledge 22 “Healthcare” based on comprehensive general secondary education and professional tertiary education.
The task of the department is the formation of the ability to apply the acquired knowledge, abilities, skills and understanding of the humanities, fundamental and vocational disciplines to solve the clinical tasks of the doctor and nurse in the field of health care in the relevant position, the scope of which is provided by certain lists of syndromes and symptoms physiological conditions and somatic diseases requiring special tactics for patient management, emergency conditions, laboratory and instrumental studies, medical manipulation lations.
Lectures on subjects are provided by scientific-pedagogical workers who work at the main place of work, have a scientific degree and / or academic title and are recognized professionals with experience in the field of research, management, innovation. Teaching is provided in two languages – English and Ukrainian. All teachers teaching English have relevant certificates of at least B2 level.
Researchers and pedagogical staff have undergone appropriate training (internship). The department is a graduation course for specialists of “Medicine. Medical Practice” and provides preparation for licensed integrated practice-oriented exams.
