Educational-methodical center of pre-university training KyIU
The educational-methodical center of pre-university training KyIU is a structural unit of the university, which provides search and support for talented youth, the development of cognitive abilities, interests and needs of high school students.
The main accomplishments of the basic methodical center for pre-training are:
- implementation of continuing education in the context of systemic changes in education;
- educational work, promotion of scientific knowledge;
- coordination of faculty work on career guidance;
- attraction of scientific and pedagogical workers of KyIU to work with students of senior classes of general educational institutions;
- raising the intellectual level of high school students;
- the creation of educational and teaching aids for high school students and applicants;
- development and implementation of promising educational technologies, improvement of existing and development of new programs and educational complexes;
- rendering methodological assistance to teachers of the preparatory department, preparatory courses, schools, conducting seminars in all subjects using advanced educational technologies and teaching foreign languages according to the author’s methodology prof. H.V. Khachaturian;
- conducting lectures for applicants and high school students on subjects that are submitted for entrance examinations, educational and vocational guidance by the scientific and pedagogical staff of KyIU.
Preparatory department
The preparatory department is a structural unit of the Center for Pre-University Training. The programs of the preparatory department provide in-depth study of a foreign language, the Ukrainian language, the history of Ukraine, Ukrainian literature, professional excellence, which is a reliable foundation for future students of KyIU to successfully study in their chosen specialty. Students in grades 9, 10, and 11 and those who already have secondary education can become students of the preparatory department.
