The activity of the Psychological Service is based on the active participation of teachers of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, as well as students and graduates of the psychology training areas.
The psychological service of Kiev International University was established on November 21, 2005 in accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of KyIU.
In its activities, the psychological service is guided by the Law of Ukraine “On Education”, “On Higher Education”, the Regulation on the Private Higher Educational Institution “Kiev International University”, the Regulation on the Psychological Service in the Education System of Ukraine of 05.03.99, No. 127 and 922 / 4215 and as amended on 07.06.01, No. 439 and 570/5761 Regulation on the psychological service in the educational system of Ukraine.
The aim of the work of the Psychological Service is to create conditions for the formation of a psychological culture and worldview position, personal development and professional self-realization, as well as clarification of issues that lie within the competence of practical psychology.
Main tasks:
- the formation of psychological culture;
- assistance to the development and professional development of psychology students;
- creation of conditions for the realization of the creative, scientific, personal and intellectual potential of students, graduates and teachers;
- promoting the formation of a positive image of the University;
- development of modern psychological and pedagogical technologies of education;
- psychological assistance in matters within the competence of practical psychologists.
