Educational process in the Institute of International Relations is provided by 4 departments:

Research activities

The teaching staff of the Educational and Scientific Institute is working on the research of a scientific topic: Research of theoretical bases of modern system of international relations and international law and place of Ukraine in the system of international law and order and European integration.

As a result of its scientific activity the Institute can present its teaching staff’s numerous scientific articles and essays done by the leading teachers.

The students of the Institute take an active part in the research. As members of research circles they participate in students research conferences, international conferences, round table discussions, Olympiads of international relations, international law, international economic relations.

At the Institute of International Relations scientific student groups has been established. The groups: “Current trends in the Asia-Pacific region in the XXI century", "Young diplomat", "Research work as a special kind of organization of the educational process", "Tourist and recreational potential of speleological resources of Ukraine", "Azimuth", "Current issues of international law", “Cultural features of English-speaking countries”, "Linguistics of Australia and New Zealand", "Connoisseurs of English literature", "Business English”, etc.

Within the framework of the international relations program there were meetings with students, lectures of representatives of international structures accredited in Ukraine, in particular:

  • Mr. Davide La Cecilia (Embassy of the Italian Republic in Ukraine)
  • Mr. Rade Bulatovich (Embassy of the Pepublic of Serbia in Ukraine), etc.

As a part of the Centre for International Law is a judicial room, which is modeled after a real courtroom. In this room students of the Institute of International Relations and Institute of Law students can conduct hearings in various fields. It helps students get practical experience of the trial, learn the rules for court proceedings and enhance their abilities and skills.
